We reserve the right to close this website should it become necessary for technical or personal reasons.
However, if we do this, we will take the following actions in order to ensure fair dealing with our customers.
1) You will be notified by email beforehand and given a set period of notice of not less than one calendar month.
2) Free listings will receive no refund payments under any circumstances.
3) If you have purchased Extras Option 1, you will receive no refund as the costs go towards the purchase of your URL (a one-off payment) which you still own, and the labour costs of setting up your email account and redirecting your website. Both email account and URL are still completely usable, but the URL will need to point to a new location. However, if it is less than 1 year since you paid for Extras Option 1 (1 year is taken to be 365 days from the point at which you ordered the service via Paypal) at the time the site closes, we will redirect your URL to a destination of your choice free of charge, once only, and only if you notify us that you require this service 7 days before the website closes.
4) If you have purchased Extras Option 2, you will not be due any refund if the website closes 2 months after you made your payment (2 months is taken to be 62 days from the point at which you ordered the service via Paypal). If the site closes within 2 months of your payment, you will be refunded £5 per qualifying listing (2 months is taken to be 62 days from the point at which you ordered the service via Paypal). You immediately incur a £5 non-returnable administration charge for each additional listing you pay for.
5) If you have purchased Extras Option 3, you immediately incur a £30 service and admin charge as the first part of your package.
Thereafter you will be refunded at the following rates, depending on how many updates you have used during the subscription period:
Initial listing only made = £45 refund
1 additional update made = £30 refund
2 additional updates made = £15 refund
3 additional updates made = £0 refund
6) If you select Extras option 3 (One-off payment for a custom website) you will be excluded from any refunds as outlined above and bound by the terms of business stipulated by webcumbria.co.uk, the providing company, which will be specified clearly before entering into any contract.
7) By paying for any of the 'Extras' packages available on this website and/or webcumbria.co.uk you are deemed to have accepted these terms.
